Amazing Things in New Orleans

There is an ISP, DirectNIC, based in New Orleans that is not only currently online, but has been up and operational throughout the entire disaster. They are maintaining a blog with information and their observations of the ongoing status of the area as far as they are able to see. They appear to be operating in two teams and sending out regular recon patrols throughout their building, the roof and the surrounding areas. Absolutely amazing accomplishment. Kinda makes you wish these guys were running the whole city.
