madden-ing price
wasn't there a price war last year between espn and madden? didn't that lead to them being in the 20-30 buck range? i just flipped through the weekend flyers and saw it advertised for 50 bones. dammit if EA doesn't have the business model of a corner drug dealer. get the kiddies hooked at a discount, draini em dry on the backend.

ESPN was 20 and madden was still 50. Madden did reduce to 30 before the end of the season last year though. The store usually have fairly decent trade in offers around madden time though. If you think about it though you get the game for 50 and the passing cone for free.
